Public execution in Xinjiang ahead of the Olympic Games
The Chinese communist regime has shot dead three young men in Yengishahar in Xinjiang in a public execution, which it claims to be for ensuring the security of the Olympics, according to the Washington Post.
On July twenty first, local officials brought in thousands of students and office workers into Yengishahar, a city mostly populated with Muslims, to witness the execution of the three youths at point blank range.
The three youths from Kashgar, a city in the north of Xinjiang province, were alleged by the CCP to being part of the East Turkestan Islamic Movement, and were apparently plotting to disrupt the Beijing Olympics.
According to the Washington post, this most recent public execution indicates the heavy-handed approach by the Chinese communist regime to curtail civil unrests prior to the Olympic games.
