Latest news divulges Gao Zhisheng’s torture ordeals
An insider has disclosed to SOH Radio that since September 22nd last year, where human rights attorney Gao Zhi-Sheng mysteriously disappeared to while under house arrest. It’s been revealed that he was taken away by police officers to a secret location where he faced nearly two months of mental and physical torture at the hands of the officers.
According to insiders, the extent of the torture could hardly be imagined by outsiders, with even police at the scene privately admiring Gao Zhi-Sheng’s unflinching spirit.
A source revealed that the purpose of the torture was to weaken Gao and force him to comply with three things: the first was to make him write articles criticizing Falun Gong; the second was to write an article criticizing the founder of Falun Gong; and lastly to get him to praise the Communist Party.
Gao Zhi-Sheng however, did not comply, the torture even made onlookers at the scene find it all very chilling.
The insider further disclosed that Gao Zhi-Sheng had endured the same forms of torture used on Falun Gong practitioners. Gao Zhi-Sheng has apparently been on the verge of committing suicide and self-mutilation. The insider had repeatedly said that the kind of torture is beyond one’s imagination.
Gao Zhi-Sheng is a renowned Chinese human rights lawyer for his outspokenness, courage and righteousness, who has been safeguarding the rights of vulnerable groups and Falun Gong practitioners.
