“Olympic milk” found to be toxic

The CCP’s national official test result showed on September 30 that there are 20 enterprises’ and in 31 batches of product melamine was found , such as, SanLu, Ya Shili, Yili, Mengniu etc. They are once again back onto the list of inferior quality products. Melamine content is also found in The brand Ternary milk formula.

According to the announcement by China General Administration of Quality Supervision, Ternary formula Company’s production batches on 23rd June, 8th September and 11th September were found to contain melamine. The tinned “Nanshan Beiyi” Infant Formula IGG produced on the 9th of September was also detected to containing melamine.

Brand Ternary Milk Formula Company, and Hebei Provinces Qi’an Ternary Food Company Limited’s produce on 7th August 2008 were also found to have melamine content at the level of 10.58 milligrams per kilogram.

It is reported that Brand Ternary milks melamine was detected in the general formula milk powder, which is mainly used by dairy enterprises for further dairy processing or production.

This is the first Mainland official announcement that Ternary milk powder has been detected with melamine content. It is also known that the Brand Ternary milk powder was promoted as “Olympic milk powder” and had qualified special clearance after tests in the detection of melamine multiple times.
