Eleven Falun Gong practitioners illegally sentenced in Chengdu
The Wuhou Court in Chengdu of Sichuan Province has sentenced Falun Gong practitioners at a second trial. However, family members of the practitioners have once again been denied the right to attend court proceedings.
The trial lasted until 3pm in the afternoon. Falun Gong practitioner Zhu Ren-Bin was tortured severely and had his abdominal and liver area pressed with weights, he was also bent over and could not speak. From his pale complexion, he may have suffered internal injuries.
According to the Minghui website, over 30 Falun Gong practitioners had been kidnapped from their home or work units between August to September, including Zhong Fang-Jing and ten others. According to insiders, these Falun Gong practitioners, held at Chengdu Municipal Detention Centre, had been severally tortured beyond the human extent. One practitioner is known to have died from injuries.
