A Shanghai hell for Falun Gong practioners
Shanghai Falun Gong practitioner, Zhou Bin, 43 years old, because of his beliefs in truthfulness, compassion and forbearance, was illegally sentenced to 12 years imprisonment by Chinese authorities. He is now locked up in the Shanghai Tilanqiao Prison. He is suffering cruel persecution in prison, the torture that he is suffering at the hands of official decisions has left his genitals severely damaged.
Zhou Bin’s mother recently disclosed to the media that her son has benefited both mentally and physically from practicing Falun Gong. After the Chinese Communist Regime began its severe suppression of Falun Gong, Zhou Bin began to clarify the truth about this persecution to a society that has been once again lied to by the communist propaganda for the sake of destroying anything that is deemed to be opposing the communist mentality. On January 19th 2001, because he petitioned to Beijing, he was illegally sentenced to 12 years by the Shanghai authorities.
Due to Zhou Bin’s refusing to accept the authorities’ illegal sentence, he constantly wrote appeal materials to continue to defend his human right to believe in the truth compassion and tolerance that is taught in Falun Gong. For this he has suffered grotesque torture and foul treatment. On February 24th 2009, Zhou Bin was kept in a small prison cell where officers were ordered to brutally assault him resulting in massive damage to his genitals, amongst other injuries.
According to Minghui web site, Shanghai Tilanqiao prison is known as “the Far East first prison” and “Old century prison”, it is infamous for violating prison code and rule to torture and ill treat prisoners on a regular basis. Many Falun Gong practitioners who are now prisoners of conscience are kept there and many die within a short period of time.
