It is looking like the CCP is breaking more and more rules in its attempt to stop the world media from reporting on the 50th anniversary of the Tibetan uprising. Reproters without borders has revealed that, although the regulations inherited from the Olympic Games guarantee their freedom of movement, at least 14 foreign reporters have been arrested and in many cases expelled from Tibetan regions in recent weeks.

The CCP has even arrested and ousted all foreign journalists in the nearby provinces of Gansu, Sichuan and Qinghai. Journalists from all over the world who were doing work have been reporting on the outrageous treatment and illegal detaining and arresting that the regime has ordered.

In one incident, a Flemish crew of reporters from VRT were visiting the birth place of the Dalai Lama, Taktser in Qinhai province. They were prevented from visiting by heavily armed police and then the police took their passports and confiscated their driver’s licence. After a 30 minute ordeal they were put on the road back to Xining.
