Chinese student to sue CCP

Mr. Haolong Cui, a Chinese Korean student, is said to have sued the Chinese Embassy in South Korea. A year ago on April 27, 2008, when the Beijing Olympic torch arrived at Seoul, thousands of Chinese students in South Korea who were mobilized by the Chinese embassy clashed with police, Korean and foreign protestors who were protesting against “Olympic Games without Human Rights”, violent attacks were reported during the conflict. Cui was one of the victims of the attack. He accused the Chinese embassy of being the black-hand behind the attack, and revealed that, if the Chinese government continues refusing to apologize, he would sue the regime in international court.
On April 27, 2008, Cui, a representative from the Korean Youth Freedom Union, organized a rally to condemn the Chinese communist government who repatriated North Koreans who fled to China. Cui was hit by a big wrench thrown at him by Chinese students, and he suffered a broken rib. In the months that followed, Cui suffered greatly both mentally and physically. At the first anniversary press conference of the violent incident, he told reporters, “Since the Chinese communist regime showed no remorse nor intends to apologize, we will hold commemorative events every year on April 27th.”

(Recording): “This is an act where Chinese government personnel instigated Chinese students in Korea to attack like terrorists on peacefully demonstrating Korean nationals, we therefore appeal to the international community to help resolve this issue, and we will fight till the end.”

Zhengxun Sun, Secretary General of the Association of fled North Koreans, told reporters (recording):”It’s unimaginable that diplomats, representing a foreign government, would organize such a thing and refuse to apologize, nor do we see that the government of China does anything to punish it. So it seems there is a long way to go for China to become a member of the international community.”

Last year, human rights groups from all over the world boycotted the Beijing Olympic Torch Relay, in order to protest against Olympic Games without human rights. It’s believed that the Chinese embassy in Korea organized and mobilized thousands of Chinese students in Korea, as a preventative measure to safeguard the torch relay.
