Curious rock attracts shoppers
Epoch Times: A shopping center in northern China’s Cangzhou city, Hebei Province displays a rock with white hair to attract customers.
The rock is about 60 centimeters (27 in.) long and 40 centimeters (18 in.) tall. The rock grows very thick white hair, ranging from 5 to 10 centimeters (2 in.–4.5 in.) long. The hair is also hollow like human hair.
According to an expert, the hair is actually the secretions of a kind of halobios attached to the stone, which forms hollow pipes.
