Wuhan hit by crushing weather
In the early morning of June 28th, a big bang woke Wuhan residents from their dreams. Up till 15:00 on the 28th, lightning struck Wuhan City in Hubei Province 3,045 times. Jiangcheng was hit by the most powerful thunder this year.

57% believe shoddy construction caused building collapse
With the recent collapse of a 13 story high building in Shanghai’s Minhang District, an online poll was conducted by a Chinese website on June 29th. Results as of 4:30pm on the same day, indicated 57% of the participants believe that constructors who “skimp on the job and stint on materials” caused the collapse.
