This program forms the basis of our e-newsletter, a critical part in getting the little known stories out from everyday China and into your home.
The SOH Radio Network provides an e-newsletter covering unique and uncensored news from China, in English, five-days-a-week.
What sets SOH China News apart is an unbiased, uncensored and independent look at China. So how do we do it? Firstly we have a very strong Chinese heritage, with the majority of the SOH team members being overseas Chinese. Their understanding of the Chinese regime and its state-run media allow us to give an honest and insightful view of current events in China.
We like to look at the whole picture and cover a wide range of news from events taking place in remote provincial villages to international affairs. Using our strong connections to China, which bypass the communist state apparatus controlling most other news from China, we are able to break some stories days before the major news wires pick them up. Our independence means we fear no pressure and are not constrained by any political factors.
With the Olympics just around the corner and China taking the economic world by storm, China is everyone’s business, China is your business.
