Recently, the global community has been concerned over the Jinling Petrochemical Project PX (paraxylene), which is due to start operations soon in Nanjing. Due to an information blockade by Communist authorities, the Mainland media and public have expressed that the majority of Nanjing residents have been kept in the dark about this PX Project.

Three Gorges Dam nearly reaches capacity

The Three Gorges Dam will this year store over 175 meters of water in depth. On November 4th, the water level in the dam reached 172.24 metres, less than 3 metres below the water storage target.

A Liaowang reporter has recently revealed the death toll at Shanxi Loufan mine was not just nine people as reported by officials, but 41 people. On August 1st, landslides occurred in Loufan County at Shanxi Province causing heavy casualties; the official reported that the number of deaths was nine.

35 people perish in major mine disaster in Hebei.

A major coalmine disaster took place at Lijiawa Mine in Hebei Province in July and now it’s been confirmed that 35 people died in the mining disaster. After the incident, the mine owner, village and county government colluded together, and concealed the mining mishap for over 50 days.
